Overview

This Refund Policy explains how Q-Chat handles refund requests for subscriptions, prepaid credits, and duplicate or unauthorized charges.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, without contacting support, from Settings → Billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then. No further charges are made after cancellation.

Subscription Charges

  • You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time to prevent future renewals.
  • Subscription fees already charged for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, unless required by law. We may review and resolve exceptions on a case-by-case basis for duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, clear billing errors, verified technical failures, or non-delivery.
  • If you believe you were charged after a valid cancellation, contact support and include the billing email and relevant transaction details.

Credits and Usage-Based Purchases

  • Prepaid credits and usage-based purchases are generally non-refundable after they are purchased or consumed.
  • We may review exceptions on a case-by-case basis for duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, clear billing errors, or verified technical failures that prevented credits from being provisioned or the service from being delivered as described. In those cases, we may either reissue the credits or provide a refund.

Duplicate, Incorrect, or Unauthorized Charges

We will review good-faith claims involving duplicate charges, clear billing errors, or unauthorized transactions. We may request account details, receipts, timestamps, and other evidence reasonably necessary to investigate.

Abuse and Policy Violations

We may deny refund requests where we reasonably believe the account engaged in abuse, chargeback manipulation, fraudulent purchases, policy violations, or deliberate overconsumption before requesting a refund.

  • the transaction date and amount;
  • the reason for the request; and
  • any supporting evidence that will help us investigate.

Timing

We aim to review refund requests within a reasonable time, but response time may vary based on payment processor timelines, fraud checks, and the complexity of the case.

Chargebacks

If possible, contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review the issue directly. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination.
